Diskit Monastery
Diskit Monastery is 14th century Monastery its largest and the oldest monastery in Nubra Valley in Himachal Pradesh India.Its famous for its huge Lord Budha statue its 106 feet high statue behind the monastery. In local language its called Diskit Gompa (monastery).Monastery is founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo.The Diskit monastery is situated on the hill, just above the flood plains of the Shyok River in Nubra Valley.Best time to visit here is May, june, july.The Monastery is approachable from Leh by rugged and dusty road.

Devidhar rohru

Tabo Monastery
Tabo Monastery is located in the Tago village of Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, northern India. It was founded in 996 CE in the Tibetan year of the Fire Ape.It is advanced learning center about Buddhism.Tabo village on the left bank of the Spiti River.The monastery was established by the Buddhist king Yeshe O'd in 996 A.D.Tabo is most ancient Monastery after the earthquake of 1975, the monastery was rebuilt.
Tso Moriri Lake

Nubra Valley
Nubra is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley.
