Pangong Lake

Pangong Lake, is an endothermic lake in the Himalayas situated at height of about 13,900 ft.It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to Tibet one third of the lake is in India and remaining part lies in Tibet.During winter the lake freezes completely,In summer you can enjoy its crystal clear water and surrounding cool & fresh breeze. There is alos camping tents in bank of Pangong Lake.Visitor can reached here in a five-hour drive from Leh.It is one of the most beautiful places in India.
