Bijli Mahadev

Bijli Mahadev is one of the famous Shiva temples of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of about 2,460m in the Kullu Valley.Visitor can be approached by a rewarding trek of 3 km. A panoramic view of Kullu and Paravati valleys can be seen from the temple. The 60 feet high staff of Bijli Mahadev temple glistens like a silver needle in the sun.
This temple is situated in a meadow with lush green forests in the surroundings, 14 KM from Kullu.During ‘Shivaratri’ every year, great rush of devotees gather here to pay homage to Lord-Shiva.

Kufri, Shimla

Minjar Fair, Chamba




Minjar fair is one of the most famous fair of Himachal Pradesh. Shrikhand Mahadev

Shrikhand Mahadev, is a holy place situated in the lap of Himalayas at the height of 5162 meters in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. Place is famous for Lord Shiva.Shrikhand Mahadev is one of difficult trek in Himachal Pradesh it take minimum 3 days to complete the 35km trek. Sarahan, Bhimakali Temple


Sarahan is small villages situated in the lap of Himalaya in District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India.Sarahan is about 170 km from Shimla.Sarahan is known as gateway of Kinnaur.Sarahan is 29 km off from Hindustan-Tibet Road (NH 22).Sarahan is famous due to Bhimakali Temple this is historical temple its multistoried structured building build using kath khuni architecture. Bhimadevi Temple, dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali, presiding deity of the rulers of the former Bushahr State.Villages is covered by apple orchards and thick deodar trees.Deep down the valley there flows the river Sutlej.

Saharan is the base for numerous treks and is the gateway to Kinnaur.This is heaven for the nature lovers.In winter temperature may at freezing point. And in summer temperature is warm but pleasant.Places near by Sarahan are BIRD PARK, BHABA VALLEY. There is every type of modern amenities available in Sarahn.

Himani Chamunda, Kangra



Himani Chamunda is a Hindu temple dedicated to Chamunda, situated at the height of 2900 meters in Kangra Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India, in the Lap of Himalayas.This temple is one of ancient temple of Goddess Chamunda its 16th century temple, built using woods & stones.The main attraction of this trek is visitor can enjoy the spectacular view of Dhauladhar ranges as well as view of whole Kangra valley.This trek is one of easiest and short trek you can also complete this in one day.Its around 10 km trek from base that is  Jiya village.If you want to choose one more easiest way to reach then you can approach via the Jadrangal village, which is just a 10-15 minute walk from the new Chamunda temple close by the main road.Who love trekking, thikc forest & adventures they can choose approach the trek via Jiya Village.There is no modern amenities anywhere close to temple there is only temple and you can pitch your tents near temples.Best time to visit here is April’15 and November’15 you can also visit here off time but temple priest wouldn’t stay here after after November 15.

Visitor can enjoy the nearby famous places like Pong Dam, Dharmshala cricket stadium, McLeod Ganj, Tibetan monasteries etc.Famous Shakti peeth Chamunda temple, is different from this temple.From this temple you can also view the Talang and Toral mountain passes.Other side of mountain there is Chamba Gaddis mostly used to reach on their destination vie crossing mountain which if full of adventure.

Kasol, Parvati Valley



Kasol is a village in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River. It is located 42 km east of Kullu at the height of 1640 meters. Kasol is partitioned into Old Kasol and New Kasol on the either side of the bridge. Kasol is at distance of 5 kilometre from holy place Manikaran.Kasol is the one of best place to spend your vacation away from the crowd and traffic.Kasol is an open space by the banks of the Parvati River surrounded by thick pine forest.River is full of with trout fish and Kasol is best place for angling as well as river rafting.This place is also known as mini Israel because lots of foreigner settled in Kasol.

Kamru Nag Trek




Kamru Nag is a famous religious place of Hindus. Its popular due to its holy Lake. This is situated at a height of 3,334 meters in District Mandi Himachal Pradesh, India.Its around 60 km north of Mandi on the way to Mandi Karsog road.Lake is surrounded by stunning silence and thick forest.It's a short trek around 12 kms from Rohanda. Rohanda is small village situated at road side this is the base for trek.You can also readh here by Shimla - Karsog.Best time to visit here is summer in winter lake is completely frozen only experienced trekkers can enjoy the adventure of this trek in winter. During this trek you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Dhauladhar ranges and different -2 scene after every few km. Somewhere thick forest somewhere lush green landscape.There is no modern amenities anywhere close to lake. Kamrunag Dev is know as raining God people often visit to pray in temple for favourable weather conditions.A famous fair held in this place on 14th of June every year.

Nako Lake Kinnaur



Nako is a village in the Himalayas District Kinnaur Himachal Pradesh India.Nako is Holly lake of Buddhist. Kareri Lake Trek



Kareri Lake is a high altitude, fresh water lake at Dhauladhar range approximately 9 km North West of Dharamsala in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh. Tattapani



Tattapani is a village situated in the bank of river Satluj in Distt Mandi Himachal Pradesh India. This is at 50km distance from Shimla.Tattapani was famous for hot spring water which was located beside of Satluj but now these Hot spring are no more these all hot water springs are under water now. There was one more tourist attraction points e.g The Shiv Gufa (Shiva Caves) located at Saraur approx 4 kilometers from Tattapani but now this cave is also under water.The meaning of Tattapani is Hot Water. But now this seems meaningless. This area is also famous for donations offered by devotees in the name Sani Dan.These offerings are given on Saturdays to a special group of peoples known as Pandys.This place was also famouse for river rafting near shimla but now you can enjoy the boating here.

Way to Hatu Peak Narkanda

Karsog Valley


Karsog is a very beautiful green valley situated in the lap of Himalayas in Distt Mandi Himachal Pradesh India. Old Manali


Old Manali is a very beautiful hill station nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley, at an altitude of 2,050 m (6,726 ft) in the Bank of Beas River.By crossing a bridge over gushing Manalsu you will enter to another world know as Old Manali.The village has an eye-catching charm. its different from all over India.There are lots of garden restaurants serving  apple pie, pizzas, momos, banana pancakes.You can stay there in local villagers house that is made by wooden and local Kath-khuni architecture. These house are cool in summer and warm in winter.

Process of wine in kinnaur



The process of manufacturing wine in Kinnaur. Kinnaur is best known for angoori which uses grapes as the base material. Grapes are pressed and let to ferment in wood casks it take place for at least 3-4 months. The wine called SHUTUNG. Distilled liquor is divided into two parts 1. Moori 2. Rashi. In Moori there is high percentage of alcohol.Angoori is used in many ways in Kinnaur like offering to local deities,used as a medicine in winter before sleep.

Barot Valley



Barot is a very beautiful place for out door activities like trekking, picnic, adventures tour its located in Mandi district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.Its around 66 km from Mandi, Himachal.A trout breeding centre, makes it a wonderful place for all tourist especially who love fishing (angling).There is famous river Uhl, its 30 km section is used to trout breeding centre.Barot does not have 5 star facilities but the nature is here at 7 star.There are few small range hotel and Himachal Pradesh Forest Department Guest House that is situated at Thaltuckhod and Silbandhwari.You can reach here by road from Mandi to Barot and another way to reach here is trolley from Jogindernagar which reduces the distance to 12 km. While travelling by trolley you can enjoy the view of terraced fields and thick cedar forests.Across the river Uhl is the Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary-home to the Ghoral (himalyan goat) .Himalayan black bear and a variety of pheasants.

On the way to Shikari devi from  karsog during the journey you will see road surrounded by thick deodar forest.karsog is a valley of Mandi District its 100 Km from Mandi.Shikari Devi is a Godess shrine at top of peak the best thing of shrine is that there is no roof over shrine of Shikari Devi.Its an ancient temple surrounded by marvelous and lush green landscapes.You can see the best sunrise/sunset view from the peak.While trekking to shikari devi you can enjoy the green meadows, thick forest.The Best time to come here is summer May, june, july There is only one guest house of Public Works Department temple trust manages few Dharmshalas Trekkers can also use  own tent around temple.Tourist can also visit to here by road From janjehli.

 

While trekking from Karsog to Shikari on foot you can enjoy the breathtaking views of mountains and
different -2 scene places after every few km as you can view in above picture its the residence of Gaddi. During the day time there will be no one in the residence. 


The Gaddis (shepherds ) are a tribe living mainly in the Indian states of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.Gaddis is the community of hindu people they belong to several castes.Gaddis keep roaming from one place to another based on season and to graze their sheep's, In the summer Gaddis go to high altitude areas with their animals and sheep's and in winter they come back to the lower ranges. Gaddis have few hourse and god with them House used to carry their stuff and dogs to save sheep's from Snow leopard, tiger and other wild animals. In himachal Chamba , Bharmour,Pangi, kinnaur, Leh is famous places for Gaddis.

Jakhoo Temple Shimla

Blue magical Pangong Lake


Blue magical lake know as Pangong Lake, is an endothermic lake in the Himalayas situated at height of about 13,900 ft.It is 134 km (83 mi) long and extends from India to Tibet one third of the lake is in India  and remaining part lies in Tibet.During winter the lake freezes completely,In summer you can enjoy its crystal clear water and surrounding cool & fresh breeze. Some Virgin Trek In Himachal Pradesh India


1 Bari kanda :- Its situated in Nichar Tehsil in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh India.Its 35 km towards from Reckong Peo. 108 KM from State capital Shimla.It is at situated at 2086 meters above from Seal level. Best time to visit here is summer.


2 Buran pass :- Buran Pass is situated at an altitude of about 4724 meters. Buran Pass separates the Pabbar Valley and Sangla valley in Himachal Pradesh.Its 6-7 days full of adventure trek.Best season to visit here is April- June and Sep-Oct.

3 Rupi pass :- Rupi pass situated at an altitude of 909 to 5,650 meter, and lies on the left bank of the Satluj River.The whole trek is covered with lush green forests and you can also see the popular Srikhand range while trekking.Trek start from  Rampur Bushahr in Kinnaur District of the northern Indian state.It is 5-10 days trek best season to visit May-Jun,Sep-Oct.

4 Poonag Trek :- Poonag is situated in Nichar Tehsil in Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh India.


4 Rupin pass :- Rupin Pass is a high altitude pass across the Himalaya mountain range in state of Himachal Pradesh, India.It lies on a traditional shepherd and hiking route which starts from Dhaula in Uttarakhand and ends in Sangla in Himachal Pradesh. 5 Pin parvati pass :- The Pin Parvati Pass is a mountain pass in Himachal Pradesh, India.This pass connects the two valley i.e Parvati valley on the Kullu and Pin valley on the Spiti side.It is situated at an altitude of 5319 meter the whole trek is around 10-11 days and best season to trek here is July to September.Its around 100 km trail.It is one the most difficult and adventurous trek.
